Device-Level Permissions

  1. Precise location data: used to power nearby-match recommendations and personalize your experience. This is requested during onboarding by default, and you may skip it or disable it at any time.
  2. Pictures and files: from your device's camera and photo library used to set and update your profile picture.
  3. Profile visibility to Verified Premium/VIP members: as part of onboarding, your profile is made discoverable to Verified Premium VIP members seeking marriage by default, to increase your chances of being noticed by serious, verified matches. This setting is presented for your confirmation during onboarding and can be changed anytime from your profile settings.
  4. Push notification permissions: used to send you match alerts, messages, and account-related updates. You can manage or disable these anytime through your device's notification settings.
Note: You can review, change, or revoke any of the above permissions at any time through your iOS or Android device settings, or from within your DKR profile settings.

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data strictly for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision: to provide, maintain, and monitor the usage of our website and app.
  • Contract Performance: to execute and fulfill any purchase contracts or agreements made through the service.
  • Communication: to contact you via call, SMS, or app push notifications regarding security updates, account notifications, or service changes.
  • Matchmaking & Personalization: to power features such as VIP profile visibility and location-based match suggestions, both of which are enabled by default as part of onboarding and can be adjusted anytime.
  • Marketing (With Consent): to share news and special offers, only if you have explicitly opted in. You may opt out at any time.
  • Business Transfers: to evaluate or conduct a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, ensuring your data remains protected under an equivalent privacy policy.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share your data only under a specific legal basis (consent, contract fulfillment, or legal obligation), and only with:

  • Service Providers: Analytics, advertising, notification, and calling partners bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs). A current vendor list is available on request.
  • Law Enforcement: when explicitly required by law or a valid public authority request.
  • Other Users: only the profile information you choose to make public, including, by default, your visibility to Verified Premium VIP members, will be shown to other users on the app.

International Data Transfers

If your personal data is transferred to and maintained on servers outside your state, province, or country, DKR ensures appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), so your data receives the same level of protection as it does under GDPR.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or to comply with legal obligations. Once no longer necessary, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

Your Data Protection Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights, which we will honor free of charge within one calendar month of your request:

  • Right to Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): request deletion of your data. Data is permanently deleted 90 days after your request via calling to our customer services department.
